What HALO 3C Devices Do: HALO devices are cutting-edge air quality monitoring systems that go beyond traditional safety measures. These devices use advanced sensors to continuously analyze air quality, detecting various contaminants such as chemicals, particulate matter, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). This real-time monitoring allows for immediate response to any potential environmental issues, contributing to the well-being of everyone within the school premises.
Comprehensive Scope of Work
X-Pert Communications, Inc. executed a comprehensive scope of work to ensure the successful deployment of HALO devices throughout the BASD facilities.
Installation and Setup: Our team seamlessly installed and set up ten HALO devices in the High School restrooms and seven devices in the Junior High School restrooms. This strategic placement ensures comprehensive coverage, monitoring the air quality in key areas where students and staff frequent.
Network Connectivity: To support the HALO devices, we installed Cat6 network data cables, connecting each device to the closest Telecom closet. This intricate cabling infrastructure enables efficient communication between the HALO devices and the centralized monitoring system.
Power and Connectivity: A Power over Ethernet (POE) switch port was essential for each HALO device to ensure both power and network connectivity. The BASD I.T. Department provided the necessary POE switches, seamlessly integrating the HALO devices into the school’s existing network infrastructure.
Software Integration and Education: In addition to the physical installation, X-Pert Communications, Inc. installed the HALO software on school computers, enabling efficient monitoring and management of the air quality data. We also provided comprehensive education to the BASD team on the functionalities of the HALO system, ensuring they can harness its full potential for the safety and well-being of the school community.
